The Method

Lets face you can’t do just one style of exercise! Ladies are infamous for being CARDIO QUEENS. Fact of the matter is our body and mind need versatility! We need to be challenged with a full range of training techniques.  What do you get when you do the same thing over and over again. THE SAME THING! You want results! The fem method® does just that. It’s the perfect combination of resistance, strength, cardio, stretch, balance and flow! To give the female body everything it needs to get stronger, leaner, add grace, flexibility plus improve posture!

Kelly Barbera, female personal trainer, co-founder of temple fitness and former professional dancer created the fem method®. Kelly designed a specific schedule of training to make a complete week complimenting the female physique! Work outs vary daily. The training has been broken into three methods +. The three methods + focus on different aspects such as cardiovascular, core, strength etc. You’ll notice each method includes several training techniques and styles to give versatility!

The Three Methods +

Centered:
Focusing on Core, Balance, Flexibilty and Posture +Strength = Barre and or TRX
Clients should include 1 or 2 x per week in to their schedule.
Firm:
Fat Burn, Endurance, Cardiovascular and Strength= Hight Intensity Boot Camp style work outs using interval training, tabatas, weights, kettlebells and explosive movements with very little rest time.= Hight Intensity Boot Camp
Clients should include 2 or 3x  per week in to their schedule.
Empowered:
Strength = Full body controlled weight lifting focused on gaining strength each week allowing proper rest to get the most out of each lift!= Pure Strength
Clients should include 1 or 2 x per week into their schedule.
+Harmony:
 Balanced nutrition, moderation is key! We are firm believers that you should not deprive yourself! Learn moderation with everything in life from work, play, food etc. If you Can do this you will achieve HARMONY! Our Fem Method Specialists guide our members with nutrition, cleansing, logging and tracking progress. Remember strive for progress no perfection!

15 minute rule for new students

New students should plan to arrive to class a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their first class. This ensures adequate time to get you signed-in and give you a private tour! Please note that we may not be able to accommodate new students who show up less than 15 minutes before their first class.

Age Limit We welcomes any student age 15 and older. Please note that any student under the age of 18 must have a signed parental/legal guardian consent form before attending. Print and bring this form signed – Minor Liability Waiver.

Check-in policy Please stop by the front desk and sign in, even if you have signed-in online. This is critical. Each and every person must be accounted for.

Class reservations – not needed for first time trial! After your first trial you will be given a members login!The best way to reserve your spot in any class is to sign up online. You may reserve your spot in a class up to 30 minutes before class starts. If you did not sign up online just show up early, and your chances are good! If you reserve a spot online and do not come to class, you will be charged unless you cancel your reservation online 1 hour in advance. We cannot take phone cancellations. If you reserve a spot online and do not check in at the front desk at least 5 minutes prior to class, your spot may be given away.
